I was captured from the beginning in this book. I was surprised after hearing from others that it was slow to get into.

This is the 2nd book in the Immortals series. It is good but not quite as good as Evermore. There are some twists and turns that are expected and you would think that the situation that arrises would have gotten taken care of sooner if Ever would have just said something when she first noticed. There are just too many loop holes that Allison left in the book that does make it look poorly written. I was saying to myself that Ever could have said something and then book could have been about trials and tribulations that her and Damen could face together. And the ending, I mean what is Ever supposed to be stupid b/c until the end of this book she is portrayed as smart. I could tell who to trust and knew when she picked it was the wrong person.

OMG! This book completely took a hold of me and I couldn't put it down. I know I took a jump start and read it early (it's a book we are going to read for our book club.) I would rate it higher but unfortunately I cant.

The book felt poorly written but alot of that could have been lost in translation from German to English. It was a different type of book that I usually read but it still had its interesting aspects. I did learn that 1 person can effect you for your entire life. I plan on watching the movie. I hear it's better than the book and I really hope so.

It was okay. I would want to read it but when I picked it up to read I could only read about 20 pgs. and then I would put it down again. I think all the jumping around from one person to the next is what turned me away and would make me want to put the book down.

This is a 2nd book in a series. The fist book is The Vampire's Seduction. This series has all the usual vampires characteristics, as well as new rules. The vampires although kind are more realisticly depicted as savages in nature. These novels can be somewhat misleading in the titles. I expected a somewhat romantic novel, but instead got a little romance mixed in with alot of survival from death. This series isn't one of my favorites, but it is good enough to read.
