Very interesting twists and turn to this book. Has a modern day twist of "survivor" with a dash of mythical creatures and a love story that cuts down to the core, confirming that no matter what happens in the past, you have to let go and live in the moment. I really enjoyed reading this book, it was not your "typical" vampire novel. There was substance to it, that one can relate to in real life events. Island Goddess
