"The Book Pick" Contest
Terms and Conditions
Contest Void where prohibited by law. Contest begins on or about February 1, 2012, and all entries must be post marked by 11:59 P.M. CT, February 29th, 2012. The "Top 5"* will be selected on or about March 29th, 2012. Online voting will begin on March 29th, 2012, and end on 11:59 P.M. CT, April 26th, 2012. The winner will be announced on or about May 1st, 2012. All times are Central Time (CT).
*"Top 5" is a relative number. Depending on submissions we may increase or decrease this number.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada, who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. An eligible writer is permitted to enter multiple books per contest-terms, conditions and fees apply to each book entered. BookBundlz staff and their families (spouses, parents, children or siblings and their spouses and those who share the same dwelling) are not eligible for the contest. BookBundlz may prohibit any entrant from participating in this "The Book Pick" Contest or any future promotion offered if, in BookBundlz's sole discretion, which may include but not be limited to, actions where the contestant has: tampered with the entry process, the operation of the contest or Web site; disregards the rules of the contest; is rude or disruptive, abusive, harassing or threatening in any way towards BookBundlz or any other writer.
CONTEST DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for great books that our book clubs will LOVE! The contest consists of two parts as described below, the first to be judged by BookBundlz staff and the second to be based on votes received.
HOW TO ENTER:
Go to BookBundlz web site, (http://www.bookbundlz.com/authorcompetition.aspx) and complete the online submission form. This will direct you to an online payment method. There is a non-refundable $35 entrance fee.
To complete registration, TWO non-returnable printed versions of your book must be mailed to and postmarked by February 29th, 2012 to:

Your book must be available to purchase through Amazon, and must be an actual published book with an ISBN#. Once submitted, your book will not be returned.
BookBundlz is not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic; including without limitation the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online.
SELECTION OF WINNERS AND JUDGING CRITERIA
All eligible entries will be judged by BookBundlz's staff, in its sole discretion, in order to determine the Top 5*. The judging criteria to be used in selecting the Winners shall include, but not be limited to (1) appropriateness for book clubs, and (2) quality of story.
Final winner will be chosen by visitors/voters on www.BookBundlz.com. Visitors can vote once a day EVERY day of the voting period! Top vote recipient of the chosen 5 will be our BB Book Pick for the indicated month.
Winners will be notified on or about May 1st, 2012, via e-mail. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

5) Promoted as the winner of our contest for 6 MONTHS on our BB Club House page
6) Mentioned in our Press Release announcing the winner
Additional prizes may be added upon the BookBundlz's sole and exclusive discretion.
Any entrant, Top 5 selection and/or the winning book pick does not guarantee sales of any contestant's book(s).
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Winners will be notified by e-mail and must respond within fourteen (14) days of attempted notification or be disqualified. BookBundlz reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend the contest should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of BookBundlz corrupt or impair the administration, security, or fairness of the contest. In such event, winners will be selected from all eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation, termination, or suspension.
GENERAL TERMS:
BookBundlz and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries or technical, hardware, software, telephone, or transmission failures of any kind, which may limit a person’s ability to enter the Contest. BookBundlz and its agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering in the Contest. BookBundlz reserves the right to cancel or suspend advertising or otherwise terminate the Contest should a computer virus, unauthorized intervention or other cause corrupt the integrity or proper conduct of the promotion. BookBundlz reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be disrupting the operation of the Contest or its web site. No transfer or assignment of entries is permitted.
RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS:
Entrants retain all rights to book submissions but agree to grant a non-exclusive, non-commercial rights for usage to BookBundlz. BookBundlz is in no way responsible for any of the content or typographical errors in any contest-related materials or published works. BookBundlz is under no obligation to promote every book that is entered and can disqualify an entry at any time.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
By entering, the entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless BookBundlz, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, relating to their participation in the Contest, or their participation in any Contest or prize related activity sponsored or administered by BookBundlz.
INTERNET:
If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of BookBundlz which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, BookBundlz reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry or any individual who tampers with the entry or judging process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and in the event of cancellation, select winners from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, said entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, Internet service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses associated with the submitted email address. BookBundlz assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or communications line failure that results in Entry forms being inaccessible online. BookBundlz is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received by BookBundlz on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this contest or downloading any materials in this contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWS & SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, BOOKBUNDLZ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Personal information collected from Entrants will be used by BookBundlz for the purpose of administering the Contest. BookBundlz will not sell, share or otherwise disclose personal information of Entrants with third parties without your permission, other than third parties engaged by BookBundlz to fulfill the above purposes.
RE-ENTRY IN FUTURE "The Book Pick" COMPETITIONS:
If your book(s) are not picked in the Top 5, you shall have the option to re-enter during the next contest. All requirements and fees apply.
RIGHT TO REVISE
By agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions herein, Entrants also agree that BookBundlz, in its sole discretion, retains the right to amend or revise these terms and conditions at any time by providing reasonable notice of any such amendment to Entrants. Entrants agree that after proper notice, to be bound by the amended terms and conditions.
JURISDICTION
This Contest is created and controlled by BookBundlz in the State of Illinois, U.S.A. The laws of the State of Illinois govern any disputes between Entrants and BookBundlz arising in connection with this agreement, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION FOR ANY ACTION OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE IN AN APPROPRIATE STATE OR FEDERAL COURT LOCATED IN THE COUNTY OF COOK, STATE OF ILLINOIS AND THE PARTIES UNCONDITIONALLY WAIVE THEIR RESPECTIVE RIGHTS TO A JURY TRIAL.
